2026 Referendum:
Focused on Safety, Security & Essential Facility needs

Our community has always worked together to do what’s best for students. Although the last referendum was not approved, critical facility needs remain. We’ve listened to your concerns and reduced the scope of the 2026 referendum to focus on safety and security, essential facility needs, and ADA compliance and accessibility.  Our updated plan addresses the facility challenges that remain and ensures our schools are safe and secure, and our buildings meet the needs of every student.

From now until February 10, the District will be providing opportunities for you to learn more about Chisago Lake's essential facility needs. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to understand how the District worked with staff, students and the community to prioritize needs and define solutions while reducing the scope of the referendum.
